“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and Facebook: Perfect together

What’s more fun than “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and Facebook? A real-life Jersey girl blogging live about “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” on Facebook!

Yup, that’s right! A real-life Jersey girl (that would be me – metiny1 born, bred and still resides) will blog live beginning at 11 p.m. EDT Tuesday, May 12, during the premiere of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

Why would I want to do that? Well, first off, I’m a fan of the series as a whole. Secondly, I think it’d be fun to get the unique perspective of someone who is actually from the area in question. For example, I’m sure all of the women out there from New York, Atlanta and Orange County agree that their “Real Housewives” incarnations are not necessarily representative of them or their lives.

And believe me, judging by the preview we saw last month of the Garden State bunch, the same will be true here, too.

But I’d also love to hear from you. How do you think “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” will hold up to Atlanta, New York and Orange County? Who is your favorite Jersey housewife? Who can’t you stand? What’s the most outrageous thing these women have said? Are their children more or less spoiled than the other housewives?

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is going to be a blast to watch. I’ll be there – will you?

Join my Facebook page now by going here or searching TV Blogger Ava Gacser. I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday and getting to know you better!

P.S. You can also chat with me via Twitter.
