New Jersey was all over “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” again last night.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Interestingly enough, this time it was a little hostile.

Jay was interviewing “Jersey Shore” star (but non-Jersey resident) Snooki (aka Nicole Polizzi) as his previous interview subject, Chris Rock (an Alpine, N.J., resident), sat beside her.

“Now Chris, you live in Jersey,” Jay says. “Have you ever experienced the Jersey Shore?”

Before Chris could answer, Snooki jumps in with, “You’re from Jersey?”

“Yeah,” Chris replies.

“Where?” Snooki asks.

“The nice part,” says Chris, before continuing his conversation with Jay, which includes a mention of when the comedy club Rascals used to be in Ocean Township.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Later on, Snooki expresses a desire to meet one of her idols, Adam Sandler.

(Seriously, how could Snooki not know that Chris is in the upcoming film “Grown Ups” with Adam? Is she really that clueless or is it an act?)

“I could hook up the whole Sandler thing,” Chris generously offers.

Snooki goes on to say she isn’t attracted to men her father’s age, like Sylvester Stallone.

“That’s disgusting,” she dismisses.

“That’ll be disgusting till you need somebody to pay that rent,” Chris blurts out.

Blam!

Snooki’s appearance, by the way, was to promote the *book* “Gym, Tanning, Laundry: The Official Jersey Shore Quote Book.”
