What have “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” been up to since the second season began?

A whole lot, that’s for sure! Keep reading for a full account of the faces and places Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, Dina and Caroline Manzo, and – oh, yes – Danielle Staub have encountered since the series returned.

Episode 5

Endless Vine (Franklin Lakes): Danielle meets her new BFF Kim G. at this wine bar/cocktail lounge to discuss strategy for the charity event at the Brownstone. “You have a lot of courage to go there,” Kim tells her.

Lua (Hoboken): Caroline’s adult children Lauren and Albie Manzo meet up with Jacqueline’s impetuous teenage daughter, Ashley, and her boyfriend Derek to find out what’s going on with her since she moved out of her mother’s house. “Everyone thinks I”m living with Derek, but I’m not,” Ashley says. I’m still trying to figure out who’s paying for her to live anywhere.

Sweet & Sassy (Ridgewood): Call it Club Libby Lu to the nth degree. Teresa goes all out for daughter Gia’s 9th birthday celebration, which includes a hot-pink limo ride to this salon where she and her friends are treated to hair primping and facials. “Teresa only raises divas, not tomboys,” Teresa says, referring to herself in the first person for hopefully the  first and only time.

Mario Barth’s Starlight Tattoo (Rochelle Park): Teresa’s husband Juicy Joe gets their newest baby’s name added to his ever-growing tattoo honoring his children. Teresa rejects the thought of getting one herself: “Would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley? I don’t think so.” (I hear Teresa actually borrowed this phrase from E! star Kim Kardashian.)

North East Ridge Runners (Haledon): A non-profit hunting and fishing organization that raises money for sick children. The group hosts the fundraiser at the Brownstone for little Emanuela Stilianessis, which is marred by Danielle’s insistence that the Manzo family is out to get her. Maybe they are, and maybe they aren’t. But after this tacky display – which included bringing an entourage of alleged felons along with her – you better bet they (and especially Emanuela’s parents) have every right to.

Note: For a complete account of the event from Emanuela’s father’s perspective, go here.

Episode 4

Positano Ristorante (Wayne): Danielle takes her daughters to dinner here, and Christine laments her disastrous beginnings in the modeling industry. (Relax, kid! You’ll do fine.)

Hackensack University Medical Center (Hackensack): Teresa squeezes a watermelon named Audriana out of her chuckie (Dina’s words, not mine) in a “push and a half.” The hospital is also where Teresa asks Dina to be the baby’s godmother. And although Joe professes, “I don’t care,” as to what they should name the baby, Teresa told me they actually considered two different names when I met her at a book signing in Princeton last month.

Scores (New York City): Caroline’s youngest son, Christopher, explores his fantasy of opening a car wash/strip club by visiting the most notorious one (strip club, that is) in the city. “Do I look like the kind of guy who works in a strip club?” asks insulted general manager Edward. “It’s a gentleman’s club.”

Preakness Diner & Restaurant (Wayne): Danielle meets her friend Kathy here to learn more about a benefit for a little girl with cancer. She’s gung-ho about it (for Danielle, that is) until she hears it’s taking place at the Brownstone. “I wouldn’t want to go there if you paid me to go there,” she insists. “I am positively and absolutely terrified of Caroline and her entire family.”

Perfect Shine Car Wash (Little Falls): Caroline’s hubby Al (co-owner of the Brownstone) asks his friend Rick, owner of Perfect Shine, to take a shine to his son Christopher and show him how a car wash operates. Fortunately for Rick, Christopher brings in a lot of business. Unfortunately for Rick, he brings a lot of scantily clad girlfriends of his to hoot and holler on the roadside to attract attention.

Episode 3

Stage Left (Franklin Lakes): Teresa revisits her favorite children’s clothing boutique with Gia, Gabriella and Milania, who’s feeling particularly naughty and pulls things off a display. Teresa drops over $1,900 during the visit, which prompts this conversation, which should go down in the annals as one of the most classic “Real Housewives” moments:

Teresa: Gia, you’re not getting all of that.

Gia: Yeah.

Teresa: What do you think I am, Donald Trump?

Gia: Uh-huh.

Teresa: I think you should go to work then.

Gia: I’m too pretty.

Discuss.

Zen Jen: Dina enlists this energist’s help in ridding herself of negativity, most of which is implied to be due to Danielle. Jen encourages Dina to tell Danielle directly she doesn’t want her in her life. Yeah, that convo should go great. “Do I feel horrible about Danielle’s childhood?” Dina rationalizes. “Absolutely. But that doesn’t give you an excuse to be evil. I mean, Oprah was abused.”

IMG Models (New York City): Christine returns with her mother and little sister in tow to practice her walk before her Fashion Week debut. Danielle instructs her just as much as the runway expert.

Rebecca Minkoff: Christine models a dress designed by this fashion designer during Fashion Week. She walks great, but runs into trouble when she has to pose on the runway for a half-hour.

Caravan: Gia models a dress by this label as Teresa snaps photos and Jacqueline cries. “Sex and the City’s” Mr. Big (aka Chris Noth) is in attendance!

Episode 2

Aldo’s Cucina Ristorante (Wayne): Caroline and Jacqueline meet the perpetually late Teresa here for lunch to discuss (what else?) Danielle. “You hang around garbage and you start to stink,” Caroline tells her sister-in-law.

IMG Models (New York City): The agency’s senior vice president, Ivan Bart, handles Christine’s first professional modeling shoot.

Sweet Lullaby (Wyckoff): Dina and Jacqueline visit this baby bedding boutique for gifts for Teresa. I’m not exactly sure why, since Teresa’s already had three children, including Milania just a few years ago. I gather there’s no recycling of children’s clothes in this household.

Think PR (New York City): Teresa’s oldest daughter, Gia, tries out as a Fashion Week model here. “When Gia gets her catwalk on, she gets it on,” vows Teresa.

Gilles Bensimon (New York City): If you’ve ever watched a season of “America’s Next Top Model,” then you’re familiar with the name of this top fashion photographer… who also just happens to be the ex-husband of “Real Housewives of New York City” star Kelly Killoren Bensimon. He photographs Christine for her Daily Magazine shoot, which somehow Danielle winds up being a part of. (Imagine that!) “I will be a part of everything Christine does in the industry,” Danielle promises.

Il Tulipano (Cedar Grove): Danielle may not be able to afford repairing her home, but she can afford to host a luncheon at this restaurant for her friends to honor Christine’s entre into the fashion world. Funnily enough, Christine is nowhere to be found. But Danielle doesn’t bother explaining why, because she’s too busy pointing out to everyone that Dina and Jacqueline didn’t have the decency to show up. (Never mind they each told her they weren’t coming.)

Episode 1

Barneys New York (New York City): Caroline and her hubby, Al, do a little shopping at the exclusive store’s Penthouse to celebrate his impressive weight loss. They appear to drop between $8,000 and $9,000 on a suit, tie and shirt.

Posche (Wayne): An upscale women’s clothing boutique that Danielle frequents with her daughters. The owner, Kim D., acts like she’s friends with Danielle and has her back, but denies it at a charity event at Caroline’s later on.

Dr. Judi Gerardis (Hackensack): Teresa visits her OB/GYN with her daughter Gia in tow.

Nisha Spa (Wayne): Danielle gets a mani/pedi here regularly. She also adds, “When I first met (Dina), she stocked shelves and was doing nails. But I’m not here to judge.” Meow!

If you want to dress like Teresa, you should definitely head over to Reve New York in Englewood. The upscale boutique carries many of Teresa’s favorite designers. Go here and take a look for yourself!

I have received several questions regarding the fashions the ladies have worn so far this season. Please let me know if you know the answers to any of them:

1) DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE OR WHO DESIGNED THE DRESS TERESA WAS WEARING IN EPISODE 2 AT THE THE LUNCHEON WITH CAROLINE AND JACQUELINE AND ALSO THE SHOES? THANKS

Debbie

Hi Debbie,

I know exactly which Teresa dress you’re talking about because I thought it was gorgeous, too! Unfortunately, I have no idea who the designer is or where she bought it.

2) Hi:

Watched Mon. (5/3) episode. Luved it!
Need help though I love the ladies jewelry in the episode: Teresa’s, Dina’s even Danielle’s.
They look like the have crosses like a rosary.
Dina had a nice cocktail ring under the tent at the party.
Please help, Thanks!

El

Hi El,

Caroline recently tweeted that Dina got her gorgeous cross necklace at House of Tiaras. Hope this helps!

3) OK, so one episode has been on for the new season and I am already lusting after something-LOL!!! Caroline has an “evil eye” pendant on. Any one know any details about it? Btw, thank you for giving me the info about the 2 pendants she wore during the first season :-) I SO wish I could afford Aaron Basha!

Kelli Cameron

Hi Kelli,

I believe Caroline’s evil eye pendant is also Aaron Basha. Here’s a link to one that’s got a ladybug on it! (Wonder if Dina has it?)

4) Does anyone know how to find the necklace that Danielle wears in the “additional comments” in the new season? It’s has a double chain….gold and attached in the middle is a beautiful roundish medallion with a cross? I’ve seen several housewives wearing this and it’s appeared in a magazine with Hayden Pantierre? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks! 🙂 j

Jo

Hi Jo,

I have no idea, but hopefully someone who reads this might!

Sounds like the necklace you’re talking about can be found on Dina’s own website: http://www.dinamanzo.com/onlineshop/.

    Hi

I believe the necklace you are referring to is by Virgins Saints & Angels Magdelena Necklace.

I am looking for the store that carries the cross necklace that Teresa had on while she was narrating her daughter’s birth in the last episode. It was black with large rhinestones and a beaded chain. I have searched everywhere!

The dress Teresa wore at lunch is Alice & Trixie
